Rue is teaching you a craft! {Crafty Crunchy Spicy}

Up to bat next is Rue and she is bringing you a craft project. I "blog angled" her last month and one thing I learned is that she is a master of crafts. Go leave her some comment love on her blog cause I know she loves all comments! (comments turned off here)

Hello! I'm Rue from Crafty Crunchy Spicy. Allana was such a wonderful blog angel to me last month, I'm so happy to be able to help her out by sharing a little craft project with you all today.

Nothing spruces up a Christmas tree like a homemade ornament. Maybe you don't feel like you are the ornament making type . . .that's OK! Because this little number is SO EASY. I promise.

And guess what you probably already have everything you need: colored paper, scissors, a stapler, needle and thread.

To start of simply cut your paper in to strips.

Stack 5 strips together and staple one end.

Now hold your strips like so:

Keeping the innermost strip straight, adjust the outer strips so they curve out like this:

Staple the end and cut off the excess paper.

Use a needle and thread to make a loop for hanging at one end and . . Wow! What a productive 3 minutes that was :)

I'm such a sucker for simplicity, I just love these and I hope you do too. If you want more crafty inspiration feel free to stop by my blog sometime. Happy Holidays!

Thanks again Allana!
