Maybe you have all been wondering where I have been these past few days/weeks ... or maybe not. I will let myself think you have been worried sick and didn't have my e-mail address to check on me. Ha!
For the past five weeks or so I have been putting most of my time in at the gym. Wednesday evenings I meet with a personal trainer and get a good hour in. On the off days I have been getting on the elliptical machine, the treadmill, doing lots of crunches AND I am taking classes at the local gym like spinning and boxing.
I am extremely lucky to work for a company who cares about their employees by going above and beyond to help us achieve our goals. Cooking lessons, trainers of all sorts, any class you can think of - all of these things and more are made available to us to take advantage of practically anytime we want. My company also allows to have 30-minute "wellness" breaks where we can get up and walk the indoor track, stretch, or combine it with our lunch and get in a full workout.
May sound like I am bragging - well I am bragging. I am in such a happy place these days that I have a constant smile on my face. Oh yea, and we have a steam room and a sauna on premise. You can hate now.
